Launched in 2025, the TM7 added an onboard camera for ingredient and step recognition on top of the TM6's guided cooking, plus a redesigned bowl with an insulation cover. It's still under a year old as a range, so secondhand supply is thin and mostly near-new units rather than well-worn ones.

What to check on a used TM7
Ask why it's already for sale
A machine less than a year old being resold is more likely to be an unwanted gift, a demo unit, or a mis-sized bundle than a worn-out one — but ask, and get the story in writing.
Confirm the warranty situation directly with Vorwerk
New TM7s carry a manufacturer warranty, but whether it transfers to a second owner isn't something to assume either way — check with Vorwerk support using the serial number before you rely on it.
Check the Cookidoo account is deactivated
Ask the seller to confirm they've removed the machine from their Cookidoo "My Appliances" list and factory reset it, so you can register it as new to your own account.
Run the blade-seal leak test
Fill the mixing bowl with water, let it sit for an hour on paper towel, and check underneath for any dampness — a failed seal is the most common fault across every model.
Test the camera and sensors in person if you can
The ingredient-recognition camera is new to this model — run through a guided recipe step that uses it before you commit, rather than taking a seller's word that "it all works."
Compatibility
Accessories that fit a TM7
- Mixing bowl + knife
- The bowl and mixing knife are largely compatible with the TM6, but the TM7's base is redesigned — confirm with the seller which generation of bowl is included rather than assuming.
- Varoma steamer
- The TM7's Varoma has been redesigned for more capacity. Older TM5/TM6 Varoma sets are reported not to fit the new base — ask specifically which Varoma ships with the machine.
- Butterfly whisk
- Shared across TM5, TM6 and TM7 — this one's safe to mix and match.
- Cookbooks and welcome materials
- Not required to use the machine, but a nice sign the original owner registered it properly and looked after the set.

Is a secondhand TM7 actually worth buying over a new one?
Sometimes — if the discount is meaningful and the warranty position is confirmed. Given how new the model is, the gap to retail is often smaller than on TM6 or TM5, so it's worth comparing the used price to Vorwerk's current price before deciding.
Does the Vorwerk warranty transfer to a second owner?

Will my old TM6 accessories work on a TM7?
Some will (the mixing knife and butterfly whisk), some are uncertain (the bowl and Varoma, due to the redesigned base) — check the specific part rather than assuming the whole set carries over.
